When you've done that, you could always email some dj's asking them to play the single. Main targets should probably be Mark & Lard and Jo Whiley. Just a quick word of warning, be careful not to end up actually putting them off playing the single, and above all - be nice (not that any of you so much as know how to be anything but, I'm sure! hehe). If you can make it amusing and possibly stand out a bit from all the other emails that I'm sure they recieve every day, then so much the better. Next, you can try posting on a variety of other band's message boards, then pursuade people to visit the official site, download the mp3's, and give the 45s a listen. You could also give the new single a mention while you're there. Remember though, just raving about the 45s isn't really good enough, you need to concentrating on pursuading people to actually give them a listen - it really does make all the difference. It's also been suggested that you might want to include a link in your posts to a positive review of the 45s and their music. There are several reviews to chose from in the reviews section of this site.
Finally, if you've done all that and still not had enough, think of something else! Regular posters on the official site message board have been working hard to try and think of interesting, original and interesting ideas of how to advertise the single. If you've got an idea, come and see us on , or email us your idea, and we'll pass it on.
